My Why
The answer to this is simple - because I genuinely care. My life experience has led me down many different paths, ultimately teaching me that life is too short to do anything you are unhappy doing. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma at age 19, and then again at age 21. Having gone through this at such a young age has taught me to value the highs In life to get through the lows. What are the highs, you ask? Your wedding day, an afternoon spent with your entire family, the birth of your first child, or starting your own business are a few examples. These are the things that make life worth living.
My goal is to capture in photographs the exact feelings you are experiencing frame by frame, so that when you look back on them in 10, 20, or 30 years, you are instantly brought back to that very moment.
I consider myself a lifelong learner, and not just in an academic setting. I find myself constantly learning from those I encounter. There is always knowledge to gain from meeting new people and sharing experiences with them. I've met countless people who have shifted my perspective in many ways - and this is what I hope to do for you. We only know what we know until someone teaches us otherwise. Let me share with you my perspective of your story, and you just might find yourself re-framing it as well.
About me
I was born and raised in Macungie, PA, and now reside in Philadelphia. I grew up doing theatre - lighting design, acting, dancing, and singing. During college, shifted my path towards exercise physiology. I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science with a concentration in Pre-Professional Therapeutic Sciences from East Stroudsburg University in 2017, and a Master's degree in Athletic Training in 2022.
When I'm not working, I enjoy lifting weights & being active, cooking vegan food, and spending time with my partner and cat. I also love to travel! I find that going to new places, even only a few hours drive away, has a way of changing the way you view the world. As I mentioned before, I am constantly learning - so you can also find me reading up on how to be a better storyteller for you.
I would be remiss if I did not mention that I myself am a part of the LGBTQIA+ community. I prioritize inclusivity in my photography business, and you and your love will always be safe, valid, and special when working with me.
